대한건축학회 소개 About AIK
대한건축학회는 건축의 진보와 건축기술의 혁신을 위해 1945년 9월 1일 한국건축계의 선구자들에 의해 설립되었습니다.
우리 학회는 유관 단체들과 협력하여 지식의 향상과 학문적 연구를 촉진시키고,
주요 혁신적 기술을 개발하고 대중화에 앞장서고 있으며 사회의 급속한 변화요구에 대응하기 위해 교육과 국가정책의 개선에 기여하고 있습니다.
현재 대학, 연구소, 건설회사, 건축사사무소 등 건축관련 기업체 및 관공서에 소속된 30,000여 명의 회원이 본부 및 8개 지회에서 활발하게 활동하고 있습니다.
The Architectural Institute of Korea (AIK), the sole comprehensive organization for architectural research in Korea, was established in 1945 by pioneers in Korean architecture. It aims to contribute to the advancement of architecture and to bring innovation to architectural technology.
There are approximately 29,000 registered AIK members, comprising of architects, building engineers, researchers, professors, students, government officials, library members and supporting members. AIK is operated by a general assembly, a board of directors, committees, and has eight regional chapters.
It publishes academic periodicals, journals and regularly holds academic conferences, symposiums, seminars, and lectures.
The AIK currently keeps a close relationship with government agencies and private enterprises, to foster interdisci-plinary collaboration while maximizing the applicability of academic research.
