The governing body of AIK currently consists of a president, 5 vice presidents of the Research 1, Research 2, Managing, and Business and Local Chapter divisions, a board of directors, participating directors, and auditors, with 21 committees, 62 sub-committees, and 8 local chapters. There are over 10,000 regular members, special members from approximately 57 companies, and around 150 library members.
The AIK secretariat is located in Seoul, and performs general administrative work related to AIK.
AIK consists of 8 local chapters; Busan·Gyeongnam Chapter, Gwangju·Jeonnam Chapter, Daegu·Gyeongbuk Chapter, Daejeon·Chungnam Chapter, Chungbuk Chapter, Geonbuk Chapter, Jeju Chapter and Gangwon Chapter.
